Travelex Rate Advantage Terms & Conditions
1. These Travelex Rate Advantage Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the purchase and use of the Travelex Rate Advantage (“TRA”) in Australia.
2. TRA can be purchased for a fee at a Travelex retail store in Australia if you exchange at least AUD$100 or more into foreign currency cash available in store (“Eligible Currency”). The TRA will be shown as a code on the receipt you received on completion of your original qualifying transaction (“TRA Receipt”).
3. The amount of Eligible Currency exchanged in the original qualifying transaction is the maximum you can exchange when you redeem the TRA (“Maximum Amount”).
4. To redeem the TRA, a customer must show the TRA Receipt at a Travelex retail store in Australia and exchange up to the Maximum Amount of Eligible Currency into AUD cash (“Eligible Transaction”).
5. If a holder of a TRA satisfies the requirements set out in clause 4 above, the Travelex will apply a TRA Discount Rate to the Eligible Transaction and charge zero commission on the Eligible Transaction.
6. The TRA:
(a) is non-transferable;
(b) cannot be redeemed on the same day as the original transaction;
(c) will be valid for redemption for up to 180 days from the date of the original transaction;
(d) cannot be purchased or redeemed online;
(e) can only be applied to a single foreign currency (and a separate TRA must be purchased for each foreign currency for which TRA is to apply); and
(f) cannot be used in conjunction with another promotion.
7. Travelex reserves the right to withdraw or restrict the availability of the TRA or change these Terms at its discretion and without prior notice. This will not affect the terms on which TRA was supplied to a customer previously.
8. In these Terms:
“TRA Discount Rate” means a discounted exchange rate that is applied by Travelex to an Eligible Transaction on redemption of a TRA.
“Travelex” means Travelex Limited ABN 36 004 953.
